AVANS has a limited number of travel support. Please let us know if you are interested in requesting travel assistance.

Call for Abstracts
The Association of VA Neurology Services is pleased to announce the call for abstract submissions for our Annual Conference, to be held in Tampa, Florida from March 7-9, 2025. This conference serves as a platform for neurologists, researchers, clinicians, and allied health professionals within the Veterans Affairs (VA) healthcare system to share expertise, discuss best practices, and explore innovations in the field of neurology.

Abstract Guidelines:

Abstracts must be submitted electronically.
-
Abstracts should be structured with clear sections for background, methods, results, and conclusions, or with appropriate headings for case reports, clinical vignettes, or quality improvement initiatives.
-
Abstracts must not exceed 350 words.
-
Submissions related to VA-specific initiatives, quality improvement projects, and interdisciplinary collaborations are highly encouraged.
-
Abstracts from Industry are NOT eligible for submission.
Accepted abstracts will be included in the conference program and may be eligible for consideration for awards recognizing excellence in research, clinical care, and innovation within the VA neurology community.
