AVANS membership is open to all who work in neurology services for veterans and active-duty members (within and outside the VA and DoW medical systems) including neurologists, surgeons, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, pharmacists, administrators, social workers, and other clinicians. The majority of our members are federal employees working within the VA and DoW, but any professional working with veterans or active-duty military personnel are welcome to join.
